Spinal Cord Injury Personal Experience Interviews

Who knows the most about coping with spinal cord injury? It’s the people who live with it every day. We interviewed more than 100 people with paraplegia and quadriplegia and their mothers, fathers, children spouses and siblings. We asked questions about their early days in the hospital, transitioning to home, rehabilitation, employment and education. We asked them about changing relationships with family and friends, their fears and feelings, their plans for the future and the best advice they have for others in their situation. They are the voices of experience.
